As they enjoyed their food, the conversation turned to the struggles of running a restaurant business and the frustrations of having a complex restaurant POS system.
Despite the comprehensive nature of existing restaurant management solutions, they often lacked an easy-to-use interface.
These tools, though powerful, were complicating rather than simplifying the workflow for restaurant staff. The billing process was a nightmare – slow and prone to errors.
Smit, a keen problem-solver by nature, became acutely aware of a gap in the market. He then conversed with numerous restaurateurs to uncover the common struggles they faced.
Soon he realized that the ultimate aim of any Restaurant POS system should be to streamline operations, fostering seamless coordination between the front and back ends of a restaurant.
With this insight, the idea for Vouch POS was born.
