What followed was a transformation in the way they handled orders, payments, kitchen communication, loyalty, and operations—without disrupting their flow.
Here’s an in-depth look at the full stack of features they’re using and the customizations we implemented to optimize their business.
Seamless Terminal & Hardware Setup
At each cashier station, we installed a sleek 15.6” all-in-one POS terminal, paired with a 7” customer-facing touchscreen. This dual-display setup allows for full transparency and real-time customer interaction. The payment terminal is directly connected to the restaurant POS, enabling customers to:
- View items as they’re being added to the order
- Pay via swipe, tap, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
- Complete transactions without any cashier intervention
No extra taps, no manual triggers—payment is automatically prompted as soon as the order is placed. This streamlined flow significantly reduces transaction time.
We also optimized the tip prompt to appear after payment, rather than before. In high-volume environments, pre-payment tipping can cause unnecessary delays.
Post-payment prompts improve speed while maintaining (and even increasing) tip revenue. Analytics confirmed that tips increased when prompted after payment, likely due to the positive service impression left at the end of the interaction.
Optimized Interface & Order Flow
Speed and accuracy at the counter are critical in high-traffic environments, especially the ones who process 300 –500 tickets a day. That’s why we tailored the Vouch quick service restaurant POS system to help staff take orders faster, with minimal taps and zero confusion.
The POS interface was customized for speed
- Single-screen access to the most-used menu items
- Color-coded menus by category and item for quick recognition

Intelligent Printer & Kitchen Routing Setup

We implemented smart routing for each item and modifier:
- Orders with simple bagel & cream cheese are routed to the bagel counter, skipping the kitchen entirely
- Orders with proteins or hot items go to the kitchen grill station
- Modifier-based routing ensures no manual cashier intervention is needed
Each station prints customized receipts:
- Kitchen tickets show only what needs to be made
- Coffee station uses sticky labels for cups, including allergens and notes
- Expo tickets consolidate all order items, ensuring nothing is missed
- Visual formatting: items are separated by dotted lines and individual quantities are printed to reduce prep errors
Unified Online & App Ordering
Our restaurant online ordering system and branded mobile app ordering is built into POS, not a separate system. All the tickets appear in a single window, so the staff does not have to juggle between orders across multiple platforms.
Adding to this, it gets much easier:
- One menu, centrally managed across POS, online, and app
- Items can be marked unavailable or countdown-limited across all platforms
- Stock countdown works in real-time (POS + online sales)
- Custom order editing, card payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay supported
The system highlights online orders in orange on the POS, with corresponding pickup/delivery times and customer info printed on receipts. Each location’s app home screen is customizable—e.g., coffee can be featured in one store while bagels take priority in another.
Built-In Loyalty Program
In a competitive market, repeat business is gold. Our integrated restaurant loyalty program made it effortless for the customers to earn rewards and stay engaged— no friction, just consistent value across every touchpoint.
Loyalty is embedded across all channels:
- 1 point per $1 spent, 100 points = $5 voucher
- Can be earned/redeemed in-store, online, or via app
- Customers can enroll via phone number at the register, on the customer screen, or even post-payment on the tip screen
With our SMS campaign automation, customers are notified when:
- Points are earned
- Vouchers are issued or redeemed
- They haven’t visited in a while (e.g., $5 “We Miss You” voucher after 90 days)
Customers can check points via the app, website, or QR code on the receipt.
Gift Cards – Physical and Digital
Gift cards remain one of the most effective tools for driving both new and repeat business.
To support this, we built a fully integrated gift card system that fits naturally into the customer’s journey. It’s fast, flexible, and designed to boost revenue without adding complexity.
Gift cards are fully integrated:
- Usable at any location
- Loadable in-store, online, or via the app
- Customers can send virtual gift cards via email or order physical cards for gifting
Third-Party Delivery Integration
We integrated Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub directly into the quick service restaurant POS, eliminating the need for additional tablets.
Orders are injected straight into the kitchen flow.
Not only are third-party orders seamlessly integrated into the POS system, but the menus across all platforms remain perfectly synchronized.
Any updates to the menu can be made directly from the POS with a single click, eliminating the need to log into each third-party portal separately.
This streamlines operations, saves valuable time, and ensures consistency across all ordering channels. Additionally, the status of each platform—such as availability or temporary deactivation—can be managed directly from within the POS system.
No more jumping between screens or checking multiple devices—just one system to rule them all.
Time Clock & Staff Management
Efficient staff management is the backbone of any restaurant. That’s why we equipped the system with built-in tools that simplify scheduling, track labor costs, and enforce role-based controls—ensuring the right people have access to the right functions at the right time.

Each employee is issued a unique PIN with role-based access control:
- Timeclock functionality tracks hours worked
